The Beginning
“Our Business is B2B.
Will Farmers Really Buy From a Website ?”
We said yes. And then we proved it.
We believed they could. A few months later, the numbers surprised everyone.
Prompt Dairy Mart had traditionally been a B2B-focused business. Dealers, distributors and industry networks had always played a major role in taking its dairy products to the market. Retail e-commerce wasn’t where the big numbers were expected to come from.
That’s where our conversation started.
At Stack91, we saw something different.
We believed there was a much bigger opportunity sitting right in front of the brand: The dairy farmer himself.
What if Prompt could reach farmers directly ? What if we could explain these products to them in a language they understood, show them exactly how the products could help, and then use performance marketing to turn that interest into actual online sales?
“The retail sales numbers we can generate through e-commerce might surprise you.”
And then we had to prove it.
The Challenge
The Challenge Wasn’t Just Selling Online. It Was Creating a New Buying Behaviour.
Think about it.
Many dairy farmers were used to buying products through dealers, distributors or people they already knew.
Now we wanted them to see a product on their phone... Understand it... Trust it... And order it online.
That wasn’t going to happen by simply putting up a product image and writing: “Buy Now.”
We had to first make farmers understand why they needed the product. And that shaped everything we did.
The Growth System
We Had 3 Jobs. And They Had to Work Together.
Our work for Prompt Dairy Mart focused on three key areas:
Performance Marketing
The engine that took the products directly to potential buyers and turned demand into measurable online sales.
Video Shoots & Editing
The content that showed farmers what the products did, how they worked and why they mattered.
Social Media Management
The consistent communication that helped Prompt Dairy Mart stay visible, educate its audience and build familiarity with farmers.
3 services. But one very clear goal:
Turn dairy farmers into online customers.
Performance Marketing
Performance Marketing Did the Heavy Lifting.
From the beginning, we weren’t interested in simply showing Prompt Dairy Mart impressive numbers like impressions and clicks.
There was one number that mattered more: Sales.
So we started testing. Products. Audiences. Locations. Languages. Hooks. Creatives. Problems. Offers.
Some campaigns worked immediately. Some taught us what not to do. And every order gave us more information about how a dairy farmer actually makes a buying decision online.
Learning From Every Order
We Started Discovering Patterns.
Which problems got farmers’ attention ?
Which products needed more explanation before someone would buy ?
Which creative made someone stop scrolling ?
Which message generated curiosity but no sales ?
Which audience actually clicked and purchased ?
And where should we spend more ?
We didn’t want more traffic for the sake of traffic. We wanted more orders.
Farmer-first Communication
But You Can’t Sell What People Don’t Understand.
This became one of the biggest learnings.
Prompt Dairy Mart sells products that solve real problems for dairy farmers. But many of those products need explanation.
Take a farmer who has never heard about a particular dairy technology before. You can show him the product. You can tell him its name. You can even tell him the price.
“Mere kaam kaise aayega ?”
That question became the starting point for our content.
Video Shoots & Editing
So We Took the Camera to the Real World.
Instead of relying only on polished product graphics, we created videos that could actually show and explain the products.
Stack91 handled video shoots and editing for Prompt Dairy Mart, creating content around real dairy problems, product applications, demonstrations, farmer-focused communication and offers.
What is the problem ?
How does this product help ?
Why should I care ?
That meant simplifying communication. Less technical jargon. More real situations. More demonstrations. More practical benefits. Because our videos weren’t being made just to look good on Instagram. They had to help sell.
Content × Performance
Every Video Had 2 Audiences. The Farmer. And the Algorithm.
This is where content and performance marketing started working together.
A good video had to be simple enough for a farmer to understand... but engaging enough to stop someone scrolling.
And once we ran those videos through performance campaigns, the data told us what farmers responded to. Then we used that learning to create the next video. And then the next.
That cycle became one of the most important parts of the strategy.
Social Media Management
Social Media Wasn’t Just About Posting Every Day.
Prompt Dairy Mart operates in a category where education matters.
A farmer may see a product today... Understand its use tomorrow... See another video next week... And buy when the need arises.
That meant the brand needed to stay present.
Through social media management, we built consistent communication around products, dairy farming problems, educational content, offers and relevant brand messaging.
“Aaj kya post karein ?”
“Aaj farmer ko kya useful batayein ?”
That small difference shaped the communication. Because the more useful the brand became... The more relevant it became.
The Results
Then the Orders Started Coming.
At first, it proved the idea.
Yes, dairy farmers will buy these products online.
Then more orders came. And more.
The campaigns started giving us data. The data improved our decisions. The creatives became sharper. The communication became clearer. The targeting became smarter.
And within months, what started as an experiment in retail e-commerce turned into a growth story that surprised everyone.
What had started with a simple question: “Can retail e-commerce really work for us ?” was quickly becoming:
“We didn’t expect this.”
For a traditionally B2B-focused business, seeing online orders grow by 800% changed the way the opportunity could be viewed. Retail e-commerce was no longer just something worth experimenting with. It had proved its potential as a serious growth channel.
The Bigger Opportunity
The Interesting Part ? We Didn’t Change Who Prompt Was.
Prompt didn’t suddenly stop being a B2B business. Its existing business model remained important.
We simply helped prove that there was another opportunity alongside it.
A way to reach the dairy farmer directly. Through content. Through social media. Through performance marketing.
And most importantly: Through communication farmers could actually relate to.
The Answer
It Started With a Question.
“Will Farmers Really Buy This Online ?”
A few months later, we had our answer. 800% growth in online orders said they would.
That, for us, is the real Prompt Dairy Mart story. Not that we ran ads. Not that we shot videos. Not that we managed social media. But that all three worked together to help a traditionally B2B-focused dairy business discover just how big the direct-to-farmer digital opportunity could be.
We created content farmers could understand. We built a consistent social presence they could recognise and trust. And we used performance marketing to put the right products in front of the right people — turning attention into action.
The result ?
800% Growth in Online Orders. 4X ROAS. 1M+ Organic Leads. What started as an idea... became a strategy. The strategy started generating orders. And those orders grew beyond what anyone had expected.
